Right, more updates..These Yanks are efficient!

100 units, $5995.
handling charge $ 23.95
Delivery $925.00
Total $6943.95=£3523.12

UK price,for 4 struts: £140.92 + import tax
I'm waiting for a reply from customs and excise for an estimate.

This is delivery to an International airport,so will mean 2 runs at least for me,but hey ho.. :D -DHL wanted 1600 quid!

Any financial bods out there with inside info about £-$ exchange rates? I reckon we should act fast, its dropped a bit since all this started...

Tiff,

Any price changes normally occur at the end of each month.

In review of the part number, we do not see any changes in the near future.

Shipping prices are based on terms from the carrier when the shipment commences. We cannot guarantee shipping cost.

Thank you,
Summit Racing

Which airport you talking about? Glasgow or Edinburgh? I should have the Freelander back so if you need a trailer for this stuff. Problem is, how do we sort it out? Going to need the 3 of us to sort all these into seperate packages if required and somewhere safe to do it. You could always use my barn if you want.

Whichever is easier! Dave's van should swallow the lot so whatever's easier to organise -probably Glasgow,or even Prestwick?

Aye, sounds perfect. If we could land them on a Friday and pick em up on a Saturday we could spend the day sorting them out. You have Dave's lock up or my barn to sort them in.

Tiff - I'll join the party with a full set of struts (2 front, 2 rear) for my 1500. And I'll go the whole hog and go for a set of the lowered springs as well.

Well done to you for organising this.

I reckon 100 is more than enough for a first order.KYB will probably be aghast and searching about in dusty corners! Obviously if this all works,we can do it again if need be.

My lock-up is pretty tight for space. Suggest my van, Ewens barn, Glasgow airport (near Ewens barn) and ideally collecting from the airport on a Saturday if that is acceptable to all? Tiff, it would mean you driving through to Glasgow - would that be okay?

That gives us 3 pairs of hands. Would that be enough?

I haven't had any word back from Simon on paying via the club. I still think everyone should make payments via existing methods to the club as I'm not going to take charge of all this money in my bank. E-mail was sent to the who;e committee but have heard nothing at present. Could possibly be a payment via regalia as there are already methods to pay via card and cheque.
