Right folks, some more news.Had a reply from a small supplier, and he's talking of prices around 40 quid a strut (full struts)-this isn't including postage,he's getting figures together for bulk postage, and numbers so we need to do the same.Depends also on how our customs view the package...still a bit sketchy.. for now but looks like you'll be able to get a set of 4 new struts for under £200..I'll try and get this down by playing them off against one another once I have a few firm quotes obviously but I'd reckon £200 tops. Summit racing have them for $59.95-(£30.34 at todays rates) without tax and shipping. I'm awaiting their reply and they have experience of International shipping too.

We need to start firming up numbers-so start a list here of who needs what and how many.I'll get together with Ewen to arrange how payment would be collected, but obviously would need to be paid in full up front-let us know how you would feel about this.

Hi Tiff - I would be happy to pay in the region of £200.00 per vehicle set, and would require 3 sets to start with. I'll keep an eye out for your next posting which hopfully will give details on method of payment etc.

Hi Tiff
Im in for a set for my 1500, how will we pay and to who?
May i surgest paypal and the buyer pays the fees so the organiser is not out of pocket?
this way everyone has a receipt and payment can be made pretty much instantly (if you have a paypal account that is)

Tiff, just read your reply to m e-mail, count me in for one set. Cash 8) to yourself/Ewen/whoever would be my preferred choice. Thanks to all involved in taking the time to look into this one on our behalf.

I'm in for 2 sets I think. Looking to the future of course. Like Dave I like hard cash, cheque etc. What about springs Tiff. Can we track down some springs to go with these shocks?

Sounds like a good idea, a mix of 1300 & 1500 struts. We have a spring manufacturer here in Glasgow but it would be easier if we could track down someone already selling standard and uprated lowered springs for the car. Standard ones of course are a good bet but lowered ones, a an inch would also be popular I know. Regarding delivery of these items, where do we send them? I have space here in the house but of course would need to add delivery charge from here to customer.

I think Tiff that once we have a decent list we should get a central e-mail address for all to send their contact details plus quantities required. We also need some kind of cut off date for this order, such as end of June. After that we can confirm all orders and go ahead with the shipment. What do you think?
