Raymanboy makes a return to form with his latest listing

Back on form

Are the differences in the pictures due to the stock pic being of an 'in' with the lower two tone waistline and therefore the Chromadora alloys?

PS anyone actually seen the film he mentions?

This is the 3rd time this has been on ebay. He must have sold the other one. I haven't seen it again (the Rather poor Lido :( )

I have suddenly realised why he has set his feedback to Private. Yes, he has had major negative feedback (I used to stalk him first time around  ) but now I think he doesn't want people to see how much he paid for the exxy in the first place. He buys and sells a lot off ebay and I am sure I have seen this car before.

He resprays them himself and sells them on. But he never seems to get good money for them. He says he's skint and needs the money. Ha ha. Can't he get the message then.

He should stick to his piano's...................................

The car he is currently selling was sold to scooby-doo62 on the 4th april
for £841 the sale obviously didn't proceed. Naybe he/she noticed the large dent in the front luggage compartment. or is scooby-doo62 just an alias of raymanboy or am I just synical.

To redress the balance, I've just spotted an auction where the description is refreshingly honest. "Yes, there is slight crazing to the glass fibre and a few bits to sort" etc.....

This one was at AutoItalia Brooklands show parked up in the club area not so long ago.....was also in a recent club mag.....

Don't know what the reserve is, I'm not a genuine interested buyer so wont waste the sellers time....But can recall getting those brochures for the Blond X1-90. If the transformation work was done by the guy at Blond back in the late '80s the owner wouldn't have had much change from 8 grand!....even more if the Turbo engined option box was ticked!.

Not my cup of tea, but quite a striking car and a bit different.
Good luck with the sale, whoever you are, and hope the new owner becomes a club member...

The first meet I ever went to with the club (cannot for the life of me remember where it was..... Frosty will know) there was a similar if not the same car there. It was running on 3 cylinders and sounded rough as a badgers a**e. He did say that he was having all the engine done though. This was middle of last year.

I would call it a 'Marmite X1/9'................. you either love it or hate it.

I LOVE IT :P

Shame I haven't got the money otherwise I would have bought it in a snap............. oh well.

Sorry guys. Ebay never ceases to amaze but this is exactly what it is being sold as 'Homemade'. Scary thing is it'll probably get good money from a dim boy racer - if he's cool enough to own one of our cars.
