Looks like its been bashed in the front boot by the suspension turret!!!

little bit interested in this car. Anyone know its history? Do you think the dent at the front suspension is caused by front end dammage?

Was it only the specials that had the ladder stripes on the sides, I assume it a standard.

He doent seem to have a reserve on it, I wonder what he thinks it's worth or does he know something I dont???

I asked a mate to do a HPI check, but it does not appear to be on the system.

There's only so much you can tell from photos from a distance, but I'd say the damage on the front longitudinal next to the strut is suspicious - it's either something VERY heavy rolling around in the front boot or accident damage.
The wheels are wrong too, they're early VS wheels (quite unusual and desirable, ask our treasurer!) but wrong for the car. The panel gaps in the photos don't look too promising either, it indicates extensive work done on the car.

Overall though, it's a good looker - but the only way you'll get better information is to go and have a look. Everything has it's value, just bear in mind that nearly perfect original cars are only going for 4k ish, do you want a car of dubious provinence for even half of that???

The fact that its had smack at some point isnt really the issue I think the fact the bloke hasnt declared it on the description might be the issue.

Hope the new owner is pleased. The pics I received from ower looked good execpt for the one above which may be nothing.

I dont think so some of the front inside of the boot was a mess, might as well spend £4K on something less bent. I dont think you would get much change from £4K anyway....I dont know how the chap could claim it had never been smaked....

Curious... The centre console looks a bit odd too! Interior looks pretty good otherwise though.
