since the facebook group started we have gained more than a dozen members who never knew the club existed and that includes uk members,the facebook group now has over 400 members who are potential club members if we can entice them,the group itself is very vibrant and i counted on one day over 150 comments from its members...pete

I think the normal procedure is to let the Club Secretary know your name and that you're interested in the post, and then we vote at the AGM in October

Ok, my first post here but time i spoke, i joined the club because of the Facebook group so im one of "those", having joined apart from meeting some of the guys at the national which i attended because it was close, i have simply put seen no real benefit from my £30. The club just doesnt seem active! A select few people are the ones who speak out or respond to questions, i get that on the FB site for free.
Those in charge REALLY need to wake up and make some changes to the whole format or you will find it becomes exclusive, at 33 im probably classed as a younger generation here, and this next bit might over step the mark but come on old guys, 300+ members and only about 20 that really do anything, you might as well put those 20 in charge
