Charlie, I believe Jacqui's behaviour in one or two threads led to the disappearance of all threads in which she posted. That was an unfortunate time and I hope we can all put that behind us.
I hope so as well, but the fact is Jacqui asked to have all her posts removed after someone decided to remove some of her views.
The thread i was on about (membership fees) was deleted long before she got banned and i can remember a few people (yourself included) not being very happy with whoever done it, Mark our editor was up in arms and demanding an explanation but we never got one did we ????

Difficult one this.
I have been a member of other car forums that became open and most end up degenerating into a war between the participants and the mods, thus leading to the mods having to spend a lot of time policeing the site. (or a lot of mods)
This then results in genuine users not contributing and hey presto you have gone full circle, however this can be a five year or so cycle.
On the other hand if things don't change and move with the times it will die anyway.
P.S Hope us current nutters on here are Ok to stay

The problem I am having, is like many other people, increasingly expenditure is exceeding my income.
Already I have been forced to cancel magazines, and a club memberships.
If the x1/9 club is to survive in 2012, it must look for ways to reduce the membership fee.
I would be very happy to be e-mailed the magazine, non users of internet could be posted a copy and charged for postage and copying.
