Rear brakes are a little more difficult to upgrade since you have to retain a handbrake. There is a good choice of Girling handbrake fitted calipers available, which allow the use of larger discs from other Fiat/Lancia cars. I sketched up an adapter bracket to suit the X1/9 hub carrier...

you deserve the credit especially as nowadays so many people are breaking decent x1/9s to line their pockets instead of showing real passion for the x1/9s and rescuing them like yourself especially those traders that saturate forums and facebook groups with their desire to make a quick buck

So is the rereuting of the cambelt achieved by swapping the head or can this be done with the 16v NA setup from the bravo? What's the trick? :-) I can't tell from the photo
Who needs 4th gear anyway...

Hi Pete,

I see you have an echo!

The car has had little done recently but I am going tomorrow to fit the heater a/c box and look at fitting a brake servo. I'll get some more pics tomorrow.
