Looks like we may have a good turn out for East Fortune. I'm taking my dad this time as he is mad about planes. He said that if you want to board Concord you have to book it in advance.
Looking foward to meeting another new member Iain. I don't know where they keep comming from

East Fourtune ....the first time I went here there was just one aeroplane getting wet back in 1969 (Piper Super Crusier)and that was a waste of time as I had seen that particular aeroplane before.....this was sittiong in the field which is now used by the microlites which is oppersit the museum.
But Now you have some of the Strathallan collection (wonderful)and the rescued airliners from RAF Cosford and The Concorde which departed up the Thames from Heathrow yes by boat. for those not interested in planes there is a large collection of aero engines
When you are wondering around have a look for "Myth II" no my signature is not on it but met the Pilot who took it on its ventures overseas another rescued plane which would of ended on the scrapheap at Elstree (Watford)
Have a Brilliant day at the home of British Transatlantic Travel
Barstardo el regionale organisor !

Ewen, cheers for the info regarding the Italian restaurant, had a feeling someone on here would know...
I have the use of a Renault Kangoo over the weekend (please dont laugh!) but I certainly wouldn't say no to a ride in someone's X, its been over a year since mine was on the road
Do you have any idea of numbers yet?
Regards,
Iain

I try never to talk numbers as you just never know. I will be sending out an e-mail a week before, just to remind all about time and place of rendezvous.
Frosty, I took my dad up to Strathallan last year just for old times sake and found the place is still used to fly smaller planes and probably gliders too. It used to always be a stop on our annual trip to Aberdeen to see my aunts but since the aunt we stayed with is now dead, no longer take part in the pilgrimage.
I will check into booking to see Concorde and let you all know.
Ewen
