Oh my days, just read micks old posts looks like he had fun with this car in the parst,!,,
Thanks for the link I will check that out later .
The oil looks to be clean witch would suggest it’s been changed recently , so the fan belt is the only thing I think I need to look at

Mick,
I changed my oil pressure sender with one from Eurosport just last year, easy job.
Before this the inst pack gauge reading was quite low and wiggled about, now it reads 4Bar and it gets up to 6Bar at 4,000rpm+
and if I have my left hand amputated I will be able to see the gauge!!
Andy's advice to just give the car a good service is sound, then you are certain where you stand with it.
I am a proponent of clean petrol tank, lines and carb (these are the things that effected me in the past).
I also read avidly through this club online forums for hints and tips as there is a wealth of knowledge in here.
