It was sold at auction late last year. I guess Mick, that you purchased it from the chap who bought it from the auction?

Hi Mick,
Your car is on the left of the picture.
This was a line up of cars during one of the stops on the 2021 club national event in the Brecon Beacons.

The oil pressure gauge is something that does fail. Unless you have a serious oil leak then its not something to worry too much about until doing a service on it.
It is located down by the oil filter.
If you are replacing this, then it is best to do it when doing an oil change. Replacement sender units are sold by Eurosport.
If you don't have any service information, then I would suggest getting the timing belt replaced, doing an oil change and flushing out the coolant will ensure that you know what's going on.
There are plenty of threads on the forum about the above items, but feel free to ask questions.
Cheers
Andy

Check out the link below regarding oil pressure sender replacement. It was what I did on my Gran Finale.
www.x1-9ownersclub.org.uk/forum/5-faults...pressure-sender.html
Also, if you look in the "Faults & Fixes" section of the forum, you will find a number of threads from Mike Gwilt detailing issues and work he had done on the car.
It's interesting reading and will give you a better idea of what was done to the car under his ownership.
In between him selling it and you buying is where you wont know what has been done to the car.
Cheers
Andy
