So Tothill being just south of Newbury then.

Looks a fairly good non-motorway route in to Brooklands. Gates open half 8 and it will take us 2 hours to get to Tothill. It's an hour and 10 drive from there.
Who's brave enough to set the time then.... Rich?

I'd say meet half 8 - everyone ok with that or would later be prefered?

John - Not sure if this route or time is too much of a detour for you but you are welcome to meet up with me and we could join the convoy? you could still cut across from 15a as i'll go down the M40 and get on the A34 at junc 9.

I can bring my a bit rusty GF if there is some room for one more. According to Google I need 2 hours to get there so 8:30 sounds ok to me.

Minor Coupe woes this evening have finalised my decision to take the X19 this weekend.

Rich, that sounds pretty good to me, although I will have to look at a map to be sure, I dont think it will be too much of a detour for me really. My only headache will be getting to the meeting point on time.

I will look at the map tomorrow evening and then arrange times etc with you then.

How many cars are in our conga line so far? :cheer:

Hi mate, only me so far for the meeting, but the MonsterMonte will be there so we'll see Paul there. So are we looking at 8.30 at Tothill then?

There's plenty of room in the carpark there - and as a bonus for those that want breakfast, a drive through Maccy D's!

Quick update - can do a bit of playing as some nice twisties, can do A339 to Basingstoke - quicker than A34/A303 or do the dual carriageway thang. Happy to go with the crowd!

Great stuff John, If you get off at 15a then you could take the A43 to Cherwell valley services just off junction 10 M40 and i could meet you there. Then it's just a short hop on the M40 to the A34.

Lech – Are you coming from the midlands? If you are taking the M40 maybe you could join John and I at Cherwell valley. Just a though.

I like your idea Richard. Unfortunately, this week I work the night shift and I set off just after 6 am. Cherway Valley is about 75 miles away from my job so I can probably get there around half 7.
