I plan on going to Ace Cafe for breakfast by about 7am, then a short hop round the ring road to Brooklands for 9 ish. I set off at about 4.30 last year from Sheffield.
No matter which car I go in, Breakfast at Ace will be a cert!

Any ideas where we can meet? I had a bit of a panic as i realised my MOT was up. took it in this morning and it failed on brake imbalance and a track rod end. Had a look at the brakes and the pads were really low so i'm hoping new pads and a bleed should do it, already slackend off the track rod end and removed the old pads ready for the new bits. Should be up and running soon.
Anyway, let me know if you come up with a meeting place and i'll have a look at a map too
Cheers
Rich

I'm easy, but then you know that anyway! Let me know you're route and eta at Brooklands and I'll get it sorted.
Look forward to catching up!
Cheers

Rich I hope the MOT goes well for you, we can meet you somewhere on the way - maybe Oxfordshire?
John you are welcome to meet us at any point. Anybody else fancy tagging along?

If you went Cheltenham to Oxford, which route would you take from there? I am just thinking aloud as I could cut across from 15a on the M1 and get to the M40 fairly easily.
I will leave it to Darren make the call on your route though, as if you guys go the M4, I will carry on down the M1 and go to the Ace Cafe for a healthy breakfast!

If you cut across from 15a you'll be very close to me. I could either meet you in Blackley and we could carry on to the M40 at junction 10 or i could just meet you at junction 10 then we could link up with Rob and Nick.
Rob - If you go Cheltenham to Oxford way John and i could meet you on the M40. If you go on the A40 from Cheltenham and scoot across the top of oxford we could meet you at the services and junction 8a. This is where you would join the M40.

If by Oxford way - you mean to come down the A34, under the M4 and cut through to the M3 (either by dial carriageway A303, or A Road - A339) then no worries. If you're looking at M40 then I'll probably see you there, unless I can co-ordinate a rolling meetup on the M25! ;o)
Happy to do whatever - meet up if you're coming this way, or see you there if not.
Cheers
Darren

I know it's a bit cheeky but has anyone got a secondhand rear view mirror I could buy? The one in my 128 is wobbly and rattly.
Let me know and i'll pay cash.
Cheers.
