I have to say, having now read the faults and fixes section, what a useful resouce it is. I have read so much about the headlamp motors, and I am almost to grips with the concept of the system and how it works. The only bit I really need to read up on is how the switches inside the motor work, and what the actual function of the diodes is. I now understand why each side needs its own circuit, which puzzled me before.

Hi Adam, don't forget that as a paid-up member, you now also get access to all the technical gubbins on the main website. If you look under the "x1/9 info" menu, you'll see there are a couple of menu items that give you access to more technical info. Steve Sharpe has recently put together some wiring diagrams that are published in this section - they may be of interest to you.
I might make some tweaks to the website to make it more obvious to people who join the Club that these additional areas are available to them.
