Electrical model year questions

Hi

Thanks for the offer. Could you check the late model loom which supports the dim headlights when the side lights are on. I am interested the red wire which connects to the center of the resistor and the point it connects back into the loom. I am expecting it to be either the light switch, fuse X2 or fuse Y1.

Thanks

I haven't got it to hand at this moment to give exact pin outs but it goes via a relay switched by the side lights, there are two fuses, and an additional plug into the fuse box. This then all plugs in between the lights and the fuse box where the loom is split just behind the fusebox.

Also on the loom there is a second additional relay (original) but I haven't had a chance to trace this yet.

I can account for all other connections on the loom.

Would you be prepared to sketch it. I could then incorporate it into my schematics and re-issue.

sure no problem what schematic editor are you using? or send me that section and I can annotate. seems like the second relay is also associated I suspect for the head light motor control.

The CAD package I am using is PCschematic. I can send you the relevent files if you can use that. Otherwise I am not sure how to send you a file via the forum but the document is available for download from the Tech section of the website.
