Yes the cars could be real as Fiat had a bad habit of losing cars in the car compounds, I know of two one coupe registered at least a year after the one had been through the showrooms and a red 55s punto that arrived at gorgie road dealership in a flat red colour with all he rapping on he seats four years after they had been stopped on the production run. If my memory is correct the car cost us £900 for a new punto or at least a punto with no mileage

It's an exciting thought, that maybe there ARE L-reg, and R-reg and and S-reg X1/9's out there. Surely we'd have seen them though ? I'd love to find out of this is true.
