After leaving a meeting in Blackpool on wednesday I was pleased to see the two of you driving down the M6 at about 11.30 ish around junction 31 near Preston, Well I waved and got my work colleague who was driving to beep his horn whilst driving along side you and nothing, but it did look like you might be having a barny with the navigator.
Hope the trip went well.
Mark

I do kinda remember something on the M6. We also had a very interested Boxster and a franic waving guy in a Blue Saxo.

Needless to say we did actually complete it.I haven't spoken to Fidod as he left his phone in the pub, however last seen northward on the A34 back to Sheffield after going end to end.
There is a story or two to be told but I'll try to keep that for a magazine article.
Heres the pictorial proof of said pudding.

Well... I made it back to Sheffield "all alone", after parting company with Jason at the A303 / A34 junction (and after a 400+ mile trip from Lands End on Friday)... plus my phone came through in the post on Saturday morning.

The trip was excellent (although credit for that goes to Jason for organising the whole thing)... there wasn't an aspect of it that could of been better.

The Exxy got a good wash-and-brush-up on Saturday... after arriving home looking more than a little grubby. It's now sat outside on the drive looking very smug and satisfied with itself...

To compliment the "proof" images that Jason has posted above... I have attached one take as we passed along Loch Ness... which was just one of the truly spectacular views that we were treated to during the trip...

Hard to argue with that as a view "on the way home for the evening" on a Monday...!!

Frosty,

I need to gather my thoughts.
Have just been looking at the route of the Millie Miglia as well as the 1960's/70's Monte Carlo rally. It could all be linked up with several alpine passes, the ring and maybe Spa.
Could easily be the trip of a lifetime. Might need a morgage for petrol.
I'll keep working on it.
