Hi Dave,

very generous mate but i'll be alright for now, tbh the engine cover is not what i should be worrying about atm!

let me know when/where would be best to meet up, pm me route or stops? Oh and I know you say the passenger door is poor, but mine is very poor (pitting/rust/filler), so what would you like top include it as well? It may be good to have the option unless of course you think it is totally shot. i think i can add a beer for your help btw, name your poison!

Cheers, Chris

okay mate your decision I was only thinking ahead if you did want it later postage or you coming to get it, it will go back in the shed where it has been for about 5 years.

Yes I can throw in the other door.

Best thing for meeting up is for you to look and find the nearest motorway service station for you we will meet up there, once you tell me which one is best for you I will give you a rough time we will be there.

let me know how long it will take you to get to it and I will ring you so you are not hanging about too long

Gloucester services on the M5 are nearest to me, (Southbound M5 i take it?) it would take me roughly 10 minutes to get there. 07779908510 is my mobile btw.

Hi Dave,

yeah it's the one between 11a and 12, its quite funky, an echo service station apparently (read, even more expensive stuff than usual for a service station, but does do local beer etc!)

yeah just the doors please, I know there will be something when its too late though! though i'm not in a rush anywy :-) tbh a local restorer was due to pop round and give me a thorough assesment/what i need etc, but he wont be able to until tomorrow sadly, when he hove to i will have a better idea of what i could need anyway.

it is really good that you have someone who can help you with the welding, i'm somewhere between paying people to do bits (screen surrounds....) and lining up people who may help teach me some welding skills so i can do some other bits!
