Hi Dave mate,

I missed your post when you asked what bit of the car I meant... I do actually need the engine cover, and that looks ok, (mine is rusted through) pm me cost? but I must say it was the front boot/bonnet I'm after! I'm based in Gloucestershire bud.

Cheers,

Chris

That's a shame, but if your are nearby door/cover wise thatcould be great, Gl51 0wa is my postcode. I like your plan, however as this is my first x1/9 I dont really know how much things are worth! I would obviously want tobpay a fair price, providing I can afford it, whatever it is! :-) Cheers, Chris

Hi mate to be honest I do have a bonnet but it is more rust than metal.

On friday I will be running down the M4/M5 on holiday let me know where is best for you to meet up sorry mate do not want to go out of my way as I will have the family on board.

On Ebay there is two engine covers up for sale one for £360 the other for £280 which I think is a bit much how does £100 sound for the cover and £100 for the door let me know what you think I am trying to help people on here so will be a bit flexible.

Just to make sure mine is the 1500 engine cover

that sounds like my bonnet! No matter, will get one somewhere!
Door wise would you take £80? I don't want rip anyone off but this is a low budget job atm!
As for the engine cover the missus has told me I can't afford it as yet :-(

that is more than fair, I can meet you at a stop on your route?

Okay mate as I said trying to help people £80 for the door is fine, your wife sounds very much like mine, how much will she let you go up to for the engine cover or when will you have the cash for it
