I now have a new screen to fit, am I right in thinking that the outer rubber and metal trim can be removed and refitted? And that the screen is bonded in place and needs to be cut out ?
Are there any parts I need to source for the job to go ahead?
Car is 87 Bertone
Advice appreciated

Hi Ian,
it might be worth doing a search on the forum for this. It will have cropped up before.
I've not yet replaced a windscreen, but the metal trim can certainly be reused.
Also, possibly use of a hair dryer or similar to warm the seal might help in loosening the screen a bit. Then cut through the sealant.
Hopefully others who have replaced a screen will chip in?

My windscreen had to be replaced recently. The rubber seal needed to be replaced which Nick from P1X2000 sourced for me. The chrome surround is difficult to reinstate, particularly if it gets bent during removal. I didn't bother putting it back on so mine is in pretty good condition if anyone is looking for one.

Was the screen replaced with the Eurosport rubber seal and was not bonded in place now ?
Any advantages / drawbacks of this please?

Yes my windscreen fitter used the Eurosport inner beading and he also supplied another and new screen bonded in place, the old screen was also bonded in place and actually came out complete once the bonding seal was cut out, screen fitter said new screen good fit.
