Best tyre upgrade for 1300 ?

Hi All,

I'm getting some Cromodoras refurbished soon for my 1300. Any views on what size tyre I can upgrade to on these 5J X 13 rims ? Can I go to 185 width ? Also which brand/model tyre suits it best ?

One point, although not directly related to your question.

If you have the original Cromadora wheels make sure that you fit inner tubes.
I have a very early 1500 and when I had them refurbished the company pointed out that there was nothing there to stop the valve coming out nor the tyre coming off the rim unlike the later versions.

Edit, make sure they know they are magnesium wheels, if they treat them like aluminium alloy ones they are in for a whole heap of hurt, like the new paint falling off at the slightest provocation. Been there, got the T shirt. There is a post about it somewhere on this forum.
