Window conversion

Hi all, new and first time post.
Been restoring a 1988 model for my son but have been making some changes along the way.
Mainly trying to lose as much weight as possible from the car.
Was thinking of converting the electric window winders to manual thus ditching the electric motors.
Is this feasible and would anyone know where I could get all the pieces not just the regulator.
Thanks

Finding a pair of older non-electric doors would get you all the bits needed.
Might be easier to fit them rather than try to swap over all the wheels an brackets.

I would stay with the electric windows.

Fitting the manual window winders is one of the worst jobs you can do on an X1/9. Also, I found that they failed quite regularly.

For the amount of weight you possibly would save, I would leave as is.

Cheers
