Mica blue touch up paint was created by Luciano Orindi
I have just sold my Gran Finale in Mica Blue. The person who bought it was asking me where to get touch up paint for it. I gave him the paint code which I understand is the same as one of the Volvo 760 colours as bertone designed that car as well. He went to Halfords with the paint code which they mixed but it was light sky blue rather than dark mica blue.
Anyone able to tell me where to get the correct colour mixed so I can pass on the information?
Many thanks

The Mica blue code on the rear boot is not the right colour. I had some mixed at Halfords a few years ago from the code and it isn't right.
I'll check to see if I have a code somewhere.
The other option would be to get some mixed from doing a colour match on the car at a specialist.

Hi Luciano,
I believe the colour to be Volvo colour micallitzi bleu- 407
I should add that I have not got hold of this yet and don't know how good a match it is, however, from my research it is the one that should be used rather than the one quoted on the boot lid.
As I mentioned, i am considering getting a paint match at a specialist. This would take into account paint fade from the last 20 odd years.
Cheers
Andy

Hi,
I know this might be an old thread but I just renewed my membership.
The colour code is correct but you have to ask for Volvo or more correctly Bertone not FIAT. Then it come out right.
Hope this helps
