What version were you thinking? Black GF type or earlier brown, or perhaps 1300 style?
Mike Worrall had one of the carpet kits from Ebay (I think) in his car. It was one of the type that come in separate pieces.
I have to admit that I was impressed with it. The fit was better than an original carpet!

Hi There,
I purchased one of these carpet kits from Auto tech, It went in quite well the kit comes in several parts and with some sound proof. I ordered Navy Blue with a light blue trim. It looks very nice indeed.
Not yet because the light in the garage wont do it justice as soon as I get a good day I'll push the car out in to better light and get some good pictures. I have to say it does give the car that new fresh look and a long with its new rubber boots the smell in the garage is like going in to a car showroom everyday:)
If only you had asked earlier I would have put my name on the list, however I can say having just put my carpet in from Auto tech the result is very pleasing.
