Wheels was created by Stephen Wade
Hi all
I am considering changing the wheels on my 88 gf for something aftermarket. Various shops have said that I can replace them with a 15" rim with a 55 profile tyre.
Can anyone advise on this please as these wheels will be wider and I'm not sure if there clearance between the front tyres and the suspension springs. Is this taken care of by the offset?
Also if anyone has experience of this dies it make the drive/ steering harder?
Thanks Stephen

You need to find a 6.6" rim and might need to go to a 45 profile tyre as I had195x50 on my 15" and still needed spacers

I've got a set of 15" wheels that will be up for sale. I've used them for 15 years and they take 195/45/15 tyres. The grip transforms the car. PM me if you are interested and I'll send you some pictures
