heat shield

Hi everyone.
well Jurassic is progressing nicely with most of the parts removed. Hopefully this week coming the engine will start to be dismantled ready for a clean out etc.
I really need a new firewall heat shield but have noticed ones on offer are very expensive for what they are.
Does anyone know if there is a template out there that I could buy so that I could make my own? Similarly if I created a template does anyone think I could be marketable?
I've just made new door cards out of 3mm plywood if anyone is interested as my old hardboard ones were bent etc.

Well done on the door cards, Stephen. 3mm ply is the way to go, if I'm remaking door cards I always use ply and will be doing so for my 1300 resto. My 1500, 'restored' by a previous owner, has new door cards made from hardboard. Already warping slightly...

I'd be interested in new firewall heat shield too. Where do people on here source it from?

I have one in the garage and can do a self adhesive 10mm one for £50 plus postage
