Worn door hinge

Hi everyone, this is my first forum post so I guess that makes me a bit of a newbie - although I've been a club member for several years (and I've been restoring my 'X' for even longer!)

I'm just in the process of refitting my driver's door after repairing and reskinning it; a tricky job not made any easier by the fact that the top hinge is worn. I'd like to replace the hinge pin but I'm reluctant to start hammering or drilling it out without knowing if that's the right way to tackle it.

Can anyone offer any advice on how to go about this?
