Blue 1977 Special Series (off road since1986)

Hi Edmund, sorry about the delay in my reply but it's been a busy summer

The car has been sleeping in a dry barn under a cover for many years but one day I'll get it back on the road. Unfortunately I have a number of other cars needing TLC but once it sees daylight I will send you some photos.

Thanks for the photos you posted by the way. I have to say I don't think it's changed that much but the ansa was removed before I bought it. Nik lived in Ilminster so that ties in with your Taunton link.

After 2 years or so in a shipping container, the car is now near my house in a lock-up, arriving via the Barn Finds stand at the Practical Classics Restoration Show at the NEC. After a bit of discussion and some time to look round the car, it seems likely this will end up being dismantled for spares, and I’ll look for a better car for the road. Must be a 1300, though.
