Hi,
do i need to drop the rear suspension to Re-fit my engine in my car?
The Haynes manual says this has to be done for removal and refitting, although when i dropped the engine i cant remember removing the suspension?
thanks,
Jon

The manual says that you can just remove the bottom suspension fixings and tie the strut out of the way. I found it just as easy to remove the whole unit and it gives more room to work - spring, hub and wishbone. You just have to tie up the brake calliper

Thanks for the advice, I thought I would give it a go and lifted the engine up on the right side first, then jacked up the gear box and it cleared the suspension arm!
Just got lots of hoses cables etc to connect up before the grand start up?
Thanks again
