i only kno it was a 1988 1500cc x1/9 reg plate changed n i believe car customised around 1994/96, been in storage for about 10y and bought it on spur of the moment for my birthday, hoping to b able to restore it but fear that its gonna b costly

also believed to have a 2 or 2.2 litre turbo engine and got told 350hp?

2.0 fiat twin cam I believe. From the look of the pictures on ebay, I seem to remember the cambelt hanging off. Did they get it running for you?

after day one, still smiling as i have now a UNIQUE car to restore, body hardly has any rust and most of damage only cosmetic and fiberglass
im now looking for sum1 with knowledge or experience of croma engine to revive this engine, any1 in yorkshire preferably although will travel for the right job to b done, plz reply or email me direct wiv details. Thank you

Great to see this car will be saved. I like the look of this car but I would loose a couple of bits like the roof spoiler?... It is certainly unique thought. I'm sure I recall reading somewhere it was created by someone of prowess for their daughter or something???

thanks Jeremy, since ive bought this car ive heard similar stories but have not been able to verify them, most of the cosmetic changes (vents at rear for oil radiator as well as 3 separate radiators at front and spoiler on engine cover) are mainly because the engine (2l turbo) was pushed to the limits, delivering over 300hp, some of the pipe are actually copper as conventional rubber pipes wud have melted, most part been made especially for this car (this was build for speed, track car/hill climbing) and obviously it needed these customisations to keep the engine as cool as possible.
Engine is now out n going to be reconditioned while i can put my time n effort on the body, will update as i find more bout it and as it progress back to life
