Just looked on there. One priced at 4950 but had no mot since 2011 and another priced over 13k and the rev counter doesn't work or radio casette. How can you ask for such top money if not everything works i just wonder.
Also another advertised as 'stunning' for over 8k, done 80k miles, bit of a chequered mot history and is recorded as a cat D.

Hi Garry,

Agree. The no MOT one at £4950, I do wonder what the riveted on sill protectors might be hiding, and has a few bits missing too.

There is one on there, in Northern Ireland that I would consider, although not so sure about the interior, however would certainly go view it, if it were not in Northern Ireland!

David.

I wouldn't be too put off with a car being in Northern Ireland.

I bought mine from over there in 2014.
I bought a single flight from Gatwick to Belfast airport where I had arranged to meet the vendor.
I was prepared to buy a flight back to Gatwick if the car wasn't for me having told my wife to expect me either that evening or the next day.
Met the vendor and after giving it a good trial decided to buy it,
had an excellent day with him (Mick Starkey) including visiting the Titanic Museum, then bought a ticket on that evening's Belfast - Liverpool ferry.
I phoned my wife from the ferry to say that I would be home around noon the next day.

Flight, ferry and fuel cost about £200, so not too big an expense all in all.

Hi David. Yes the Northern Island one looks ok but not completely original as seats are different. Been for sale quite a while but no idea how the irish market is.

Nice one Pete!

A few years back I flew to the south of France to buy a car, another Fiat, so I’m not adverse to a bit of travel - I love a good road trip.

Although I need to be 99 per cent certain I’m going to buy though, as I wouldn’t want to come back without. That would be much less fun!
