Looking to buy a SORN’d car in the UK

Hi All - a friend and I are looking for a project, definitely an X1/9. We are also looking for a SORN’d car rather than a road going car so I’ve not replied to any ads for good cars as I don’t want to insult the seller what what we want to spend, but we want to be fair in an offer. So, if you or if you know someone with a SORN’d car or a stalled project, can you please let me know.

We don’t have many requirements, but it needs to be a 1500, preferably an 80s model. We want to avoid 2 years of repairing a chassis and bodywork, so the quality of chassis/bodywork is a factor for us. It doesn’t need to be a runner, and doesn’t need a good interior.

Hi Mark I’ve just joined the site and put my Dad’s X19 for sale.
I’ve just notice your wanted message and wondered if you still looking for a car?
The car in a 1982 model in red and has been sort for about ten years.and is a 1500cc.
It has been stored in a dry garage for the last 10 years due to Dad becoming unable to drive the car after he fully restored it.
Body work is still good.
