The vendor advises that from 2006 this X1/9 VS was placed in storage until 2016 when it was recommissioned. It benefits from new brakes, exhaust, alternator, tyres and a service. The file contains wallet and handbook, some MoTs from 1999 and a quantity of invoices dating from 2016. The MoT history shows that it was last issued in 2006 with a mileage recorded of 35,585 until 2016 at 35,929 miles. Current mileage recorded at 36,700. 1,498cc. Chassis number 7154701.

Thanks Richard.
It is just too far to travel to view especially as it is an auction and may not win it!

Thanks Keith.
Other than it being nearly 400 Miles away it just doesn’t look right but I can’t put my finger on why.

I’ve just realised, it’s possibly the wheels, spoiler and colour coded engine cover that makes it look ‘odd’.

The wheels are correct, but look like they've been refurbed, which is understandable.
The engine cover is correctly painted.

Interesting!
I thought all VS versions had the wheels like the one in the photo earlier on in this thread.
I also didn’t know some had colour coded engine covers!
Surely, it was only the Gran Finales that had a spoiler though?

I’m still watching this one, bought by a dealer and being sold by them for nearly 2K over what they bought it for so I’m hoping they might reduce the price one day soon.
