X1/9 wanted was created by manalishi
I'm looking for a well preserved and mechanically sorted 1500. I'm fairly open-minded on colour, and may even be persuaded by a well-implemented engine conversion. Long MOT is a must.

Not sure if PMs are the best method of contact, but if not, please call 01394 387924

Thanks to Tiff for encouraging me to look into X1/9s again :)

No not the Lido but the Orange one. If you have the latest club mag its the one on the front and rear cover

Cheers

The one in the snow? (That's the magazine I just received). Must be the light or the printing. It looks red rather than orange! :D

It does look fantastic. Shows off the X's lines, especially with the roof off.

Yup its Orange 8) . Took it out in the snow as a favour for Mark for the Mag. Not worried as there was no salt on any of the roads near me :D

Not the best car for snowy conditions but it was great fun,

GPW I like the wheels on the orange 1300. The look like minilites or similar. What's the make and size and are they still available to buy somewhere ?

1983 1500 (currently restoring it)
1989 1500 GF - on the road
2003 Mazda RX8 - modern version of the X1/9

Aspires to a Lancia MonteCarlo (code number by Fiat and Lancia X1/8 then X1/20)

Hi Gask

They are genuine Minilite 6x13 with 185/60/13 tyres made for the X1/9. As to where you can get them now I dont know.

Sorry

Try here:
www.minilitewheels.com/index.htm
At least they list them for the X1/9 in Applications!
I could have sworn that they were in Taunton, just down the road from me, as I always fancied them on my Spitfire, but never got round to it.

1989 Mica Red Gran Finale - no MoT
1985 Lancia HPE Volumex - with engine out!
1999 Alfa Romeo 145 QV
