Just came on here to mention this listing as well.
It was obviously owned by a very enthusiastic person, and is crammed full of period mods.
Such a shame it couldn't have been saved before it got in to the current condition.
The mods I spotted;
twin carbs - probably Weber 40's
electric fuel pump & pressure regulator
engine breather from a Ford
stereo "pod" for 1300 dash
additional gauges
added clock
non-standard gearknob
home made wooden door caps
spare set of Cibie glass headlights
frunk boot strut
home made oddments tray behind the seat
Filtakleen oil filter mounted in the boot - no idea!
Owners club magazines from the 80's and 90's

There are some decent parts on there.
Would require a good poke around underneath to determine whether the body is salvageable....
Such a shame it was left somewhere to get vandalised. if the windows hadn't been smashed the interior would have stayed a lot drier.
Perhaps the moss covered seats are an optional extra??

I noticed the rear valance looks to have been modded with cut outs for what I would guess for the ansa exhaust.
I hope the winning bidder decides to restore this, too few of these to let rust away

Exceptionally sad to see a Lido be in such a sorry state. I hope the new owner has either the skills and motivation to get it sorted or the funds get it done properly. If there was ever an X1/9 model for an investment, this would be it.

Bought by a Timothy Brick. Member on X19 enthusiast club. Apparently he collects cars and has 2 vs x19s
