At Mathewsons Auction on Sat. 22 Aug. Lot 305. A good-looking 1984 X1/9 VS with only c17k miles, guided @£6000+.
It was unsold at their last auction - the 'high bid' was £4,500 (I think). Expect it will be sold for less than some of the very optimistic asking prices at present viz. £22,000 and £11,995. Auction 'sold' prices are probably the most reliable guide to real values.

The sad thing is it will probably be used once a year for a 10 mile drive for fear of devaluing it. It may have sold for 18k but was it worth that?
