Hi everyone
Looked at a couple if cars privately now and have discovered one horrible factor. A lot of people seem to use very clever photography to hide lots of nasties. I'm hoping that by joining all you enthusiasts we can collectively find me a nice base car to improve.

Hi Stephen,
I'm sure the club members will be able to give you some useful advice on finding the right X1/9 for yourself. Unfortunately some of the worst nasties on X1/9's would never show up on a photo (unless in the terminal phase) as they require removal of bits of trim and/or the lifting of carpets to find.
If you are near the NEC this weekend drop in and see us on the X1/9 stand and we'll tell you what to look for.

Damn, can't get the link to work from ebay!!!
If it's the F reg from Farnham then:
It looks in reasonable condition. There doesn't appear to be any bubbling around the windscreen. From his photos you can see a bit of naughtiness around the bottom of the doors and the bottom of the rear wing which is fairly common.
I think this one is worth a look and may well be a good base to work from.
