Thinking of selling my Gran Finale was created by Rob Warren
Thinking of selling my Gran Finale as my turbo car is nearing completion. I've owned this car for three years and sorted out lots of annoying faults. Bodywork is fair, not perfect but excellent structurally. No rust on roll over bar or screen. It really wouln't take much effort to make a fine example though - you can either drive around without problems and a big grin on your face or sort the bodywork out as a winter project if you so wish.
I've repaired the driver's floor to a very high standard (MOT tester didn't even notice it had been done). The rest of the floor is immaculate, no rust on the front wings.
This car is 100% reliable, starts first time, every time, hot or cold. I forget everything I've done on it but recent jobs include a rebuilt gearbox and LUK uno turbo clutch, millers non ep oil (absolutely no crunching, silky smooth - best box I've ever tried).
Coolant change
Regular oil changes
I've refurbished all of the brake calipers, fitted new pads and discs front and rear - handbrake is the best you will ever find on an exxy.
New throttle cable.
Has a cd player and half decent speakers.
Tuned the engine and carb. It starts instantly, warms up perfectly and auto choke turns off when it should. Doesn't splutter, revs freely and is completely 'blocked jet' free (has been for 3 years since I sorted that common problem)
Has a K&N filter and stainless exhaust.
I've done 250 miles in it this Sunday just gone in Wales with the Lancia Montecarlo Club where it performed faultlessly.
You can drive this car all summer without any issues.
12 months MOT
It's served me well and I would rather it go to a club member rather than anyone else.
It's worth a grand all day long and that is what I will take for it, nothing less. Not in a rush to sell, it's insured for another 6 months.

Are you two on about some discussion on Pete's facebook site?. If so let me update you with some facts.~ If that car doesn't go to a friend of my wife's it will end up in my shed in Dundee.
What do you all think of that one then?

I doubt it will end up in my shed because the person going to see it would be daft not to take it.
But only time will tell I suppose

Hi
Would you consider selling your gran finale to a true x19 enthusiast.
I plan to restore it to show condition and would share my build and experience with you.
Many thanks
Paul.
