X1/9 for sale was created by K. HOWIE
Hello. I have decided to sell my X1/9. It is a 1500 in metallic light blue ((Azzuro metallic) and the mileage is 89000.
I have owned the car from new, purchasing it in November 1987. The car has a fully documented service history from Ferdi’s Garage in Lytham St. Annes and I have a service file containing every single invoice and MOT. I also have all the documentation and handbooks from the original purchase.
I took the car off the road approximately 3 years ago. Prior to this, the car was running well. The car is completely standard except for a stainless steel exhaust, made by Eurosport Exhausts in Lytham St. Annes.
The bodywork is poor, with rust on a number of panels. Due to the car’s provenance, it would make a great restoration project, although I understand someone might want it to break for parts.
It would be great if the car can go to a good home. I’m looking for a sensible / realistic offer. The car is in Lancashire.

I am a former, active, OC member with an Azurro E-reg X1/9. I stuck it in the garage 13 years ago and it's now in a sad state. I was going to revitalize it but I realize it's beyond saving. I'm, in Lancs so I'm thinking that your exxy could be returned to road shape and my poor old girl supplying some of the missing bits. Registering an interest.
