X1/9 Free to good home

Hi All
I have been contacted by a guy who lives in France and is offering his car plus loads of spares free to any club members, he says he lives 30 mins away from the Calais Ferry port

Offered:

Free for spares or repair: 1986 complete X1/9 VS with french registration grey card but without control technique ( MOT), carburettor model with elect fuel pump. Also some extra panels, gearbox, wheels, heater matrix, wishbones and springs from 45000klm car. British car, right hand drive.

Located at Courset by Desvres, Pas de Calais, Car will need trailered due to seized brake pads. It will be available for collection from Sept 22th.

Giving the rarity of parts for the cars I am really reluctant to just bin it. I did offer to the french x1/9 club but i never received any response from them.

It does, and the guy has a lot of spares including body panels.

To be honest i lost my way recently and just haven't been bothered to finish it, only needs a few jobs to have it ready for MOT, will try tomorrow
