D515RPU for sale (black 1500) - SOLD

Sadly, lots of weekend work and a new (more distant!) partner means I don't drive this car very much at all.

Think it's reasonably well-known in the Club; I bought it from Pete in January. It has an MOT until Sept 17th and tax until end of Feb 2012.

I'd prefer it to go to someone in the Club, so club-only price is £250 (excluding the tax disk, which we can negotiate on, depending on your plans to restore/break). If no-one here wants it, I'll

* debumpered
* some sort of sports exhaust
* Lumenition electronic ignition
* very nice alloys with bigger tyres that standard

Sadly, the bubbles on the rear wing 'shoulders' that were appearing when I bought the car have now broken through. There's a 5p-sized hole showing a previous make-do repair. You can just see the mesh (fibreglass?) through the hole (see pic below). Underneath, the car is much better says my local indie, and should pass the next MOT.

Also, there's a crunch into 3rd unless you are very deliberate with the clutch and fairly smooth with the change. Not sure if that's tweakable via the clutch adjustment.

As it's touch-and-go about restoring or breaking, I thought it was worth advertising now while it's got tax and test (which makes it easy to move without ANPR hassles one the MOT runs out).

yes breaking a x1/9 just for a few bits is criminal...too many have been destroyed for that evil called money

Oh no don't get me wrong I only break to re-use. Not to sell on for profit....

Up for the exhaust and ignition if u do swap out the guts of it.....
