Hi All,

Unfortuntly I have had a little bump (15mph) in my much loved and recently restored turbo. She can be seen as car of the month Nov 2009 but I am sure most of you know her. I have over 500 photos of her restoration which arn't for the faint haearted LOL..

I have just spent around 2k on welding and replacing and updating the dash. However after spending over 5k on her I have lost heart to re-fix her. I am going through the insuarnce now and due to the bodykit and paint job on the car she has been declared as a total loss and going to be wrote of by the insurance. If I don't buy it back it will be crushed due to the age of car.

She is completly roadworthy just a bad crack along the front bumper connecting to the nose and two carcks on the front wheel arches from impact of shrubbery. Also it has cracked in other joins of the kit. Pictures to follow when I figure out how to do it.

I am going to stick on ebay but thought I would give a club member first offers. She has just short of a years MOT and 5 Mths Tax remaining. Brand new everything as can been seen including poly bushes all round fitted over the winter period.

Looking around the 2k mark and will be a cheap car to someone with the time to do a bit of fibre glassing and will need a new spray job as there will be a struggle to match the paintwork I think.

A rust free turbo charged Mk1 X1/9 who wants it. ??????? Always open to close offers.

Any questions give me a pm or a bell on 07868721234

if only I had 2k spare I would whip it away.... maybe you should park it up and your enthusiasm will return in a couple of months?

Can I ask what bucket seats you fitted in the car? I know it's off on a tangent but I'm looking for some suitable buckets and i couldn't workout from your pics what you have fitted...

Hi there Cobra.

If I don't sell it I will brake her down as it will be worth a lot more to me selling the parts and you can have the seats lol.

Cheers,[/code]
