Well I bought this car last year and ran it for a while before taking it off the road for the winter. It needed some welding around the drivers seat belt mounting and on the front wing. This has all been done.

The car runs nicely and has been re-trimmed inside with new door panels, rear bulkhead and spare wheel cover. Seat are original and in very good condition. Interior is in good condition with 6 speaker stereo and Sony CD player. Four very good tyres which are just over a year old.

It needs a couple of jobs to finish the car off. Front number plate needs replacing. I cracked it whilst working on the car. The handbrake needs adjustment (I will do that before I sell it). The heater valve is seized shut in the off position (cold). I need to put a new mirror into the drivers side wing mirror (I will do that). One of the core plugs is leaking and needs replacing. I have replacements to go in. It has the early gearbox problem of jumping out of reverse but it's all good in the forward gears with no crunching or synchro problems.

The car is very solid including the doors but the front edges of the doors are not very tidy. No rust holes but they have had some cosmetic filler and it's starting to crack away (previous owner did that). If I was to rate the body work from "A to C" with "A" being excellent. I would rate it as a "B"

Underneath the car is very clean and tidy and is painted in red lead paint.

I need to make some space in my garden prior to some building work so I am looking to let it go as is, but once the handbrake is done and it's been for a run to bed the brakes in the car should be good for an MOT.

£850 ono.

its relisted on eBay with no reserve and very low price. Must go this time as I need the space and I don't really want someone buying it to break it for spares....

so what ever the final bid price is thats it...
