1987 1500 VS Eurosport FOR SALE

Im looking to sell my Eurosport X1/9 and wondered if there is anyone out there interested in an 80% finished project. I have fitted a full eurosport fibreglass body kit and had a full inside and outside respray in Ford Pantha Black. I have had all the trim rechromed in satin chrome and had lots of parts powder coated. It has a set of Compomotive alloys with nearly new Toyo Prox's. I have fitted a reconditioned engine from a 1.6 16v Brava, but here's the problem, I can't get it to work. 99% shure its an ecu problem or wiring but all the parts are there reconditioned decoded ecu. CSC exhaust. I have loads of spares and the full interior. Please call for more information, I have done loads of work to the car, too much to list. Recon gearbox, brake master and slave cylinders and clutch slave and master cylinders, new clutch, new seals in all four calipers 4 new discs, brand new front windscreen. I will post some photos on Friday as I'm working away at the moment. I have spent hours on this car and the parts have cost £4000 to date, I would be looking for at least what I've paid so far. No idea why its not running, but I'm sure with help from friends that will be going in no time. Engine looks it was made to fit in there...

Wasn't this on ebay a while back? I wonder if it is still for sale. I think I have an old club mag with a pic of when you had a red eurosport Pete.

Nice project, the hard work is done. It just needs Rachael to work her magic on an ecu system! This engine loom comes with the stupid red key thingy system on it.

Hi guys thought I'd post a reply! I have been trying for over a year to get the engine running. I have fitted a new ecu and immobiliser and now I have fuel pressure, spark and injectors but when it turns over it back fires. I used the locking kit to fit new cam belt and checked the tensioners. I have not got the time to spend on it anymore. Any sensible offers would be accepted. I've spent over £4000 so far but don't expect to get that back! It's a shame not to finish it as it will be such a unique motor.

a car without its original engine thats not running will devalue a car quite a bit
