Looks like the recession is biting, the bidding only went up to £1025, I would have expected a bit more interest than that, it is a nice looking car!

Yep, but refitting the engine/box is a much more preferable job than doing the bodywork which is already done! Although I would immediately attack those hideous 'mudflaps' behind the rear arches with tin snips/angle grinder....

im with you on that..better buy summat wi a solid body and crap oily bits than the other way round..problem with that car is your essentially buying the engine 'blind'...who knows when, and if, it was last run and what kind of condition its in...
