Matlock Bath

Orange 1500 passed me as I was sat in traffic going through Matlock bath about 16:30 Sun 11 Mar

There's a well known cactus nursery there but it wasn't me :shock:

I remember going to that cactus place with you all that time ago Ewen - shame it was closed!

Aye Jim, was a nice day too. I'm just back from Aberdeen where I bought some plants and guess what, all were supplied by Abbey Brook Cactus Nursery in Matlock. That Brian Fearne certainly gets around

Also just watched a documentary about restoring a WW2 Comet tank by some guys who run a tank museum on the Isle of White. Superb stuff, I even saw a stolly, one of my favourite vehicles in a line up of to do restorations. Mmmmmmmmm, cars, tanks, plants, garden railways lol. I could spend a fortune and fill my time with all sorts of things with all those hobbies and men's toys.

Fancy that, those cactii certainly are well travelled! Need to start my own collection over again sadly - most of them have died after being left outside over the winter, apart from one huge San Pedro that refuses to die!
