To Dallaraturbo,
I have never met you, although I was fortunate enough to buy your stainless steel expansion tank from you via e-bay, but I am concerned that your comments regarding Tiff are verging on the slanderous. Please can we all refrain from having a pop at each other via this forum. Many Thanks.

Replying to that I would say that Raymanboy is not a member of the club (as far as I know), and his descriptions of his cars are often impossible to follow and he used to regularly make untrue statements about his cars club connections. Further, being lovers of these cute cars of ours it hurts to see him buy a car via e-bay for a couple of hundred quid and then dress it up in deliberately indesipherable language and sell it back on for a profit. Although I do appreciate that it is all perfectly legal (apart from the club connections) and everyone has a right to make a living.
Going back to Tiff, I happen to know for a fact that he is on the lookout for a second exxie for his wife and having e-mailed him in the middle of the week about advice on my own car, he replied and in the same e-mail stated that he fancied having a go at winning the Fraserburgh car on e-bay. At that point i asked him if he had ever seen the car in the flesh or knew of the car to which he replied "no".
You are perfectly correct when you say we are all entitled to our opinions, but sometimes they are better left as thoughts and not stated for all to see. Your last posts says that you are just stating a fact, in reality you were stating an opinion which would be better left unsaid. I for one have no doubt that Tiff was making a genuine attempt to buy that car for Lesley. I now wonder if he bidding decisions will be altered as a result of this thread as he struggles to maintain his integrity. A case of being damned if he keeps bidding and damned if he doesnt.
Perhaps for the sake of the club the two us us should let this one lie. If you feel the need to reply could you possibly do it via a pm please?

Jacqui,
I think Dave has a point here. Let's keep it friendly.
