At Goodwood today!! F reg, 63k miles, leather seats. Even shook the guys' hand when about to park, but he didn't hang around for a chin wag, think he was hungry for some brekkie!! Nice to see another one on the road at last!

Good to see you have seen another exxie - do you know if he is a club member? Are you able to make the national event in Wales this year - be a good chance to meet some fellow owners/club members? If you are ever up in Scotland, get in touch beforehand - the Scottish gang will make you most welcome.

Thanks Dave, i didn't see a club sticker, maybe thats why he didn't wait to have a chat, most members would have chewed the cud for a bit, i know what a sociable bunch you lot are! I can't make Wales as i return from holiday on the Sunday of that weekend. Next year is a defo though!
It was me at Goodwood, yes I am a club member, great club. I did come back later but you were gone. I was late for an appointment to meet a guy about my other love a 1974 Meserati Merak which I am bring back to life, but the head gaskets have blown, if you think X1/9 are difficult to work on you should try Meraks and very expensive for parts, it is the same engine as fitted to Citroen SM finding someone to do the head gasket is proving difficult within my budget.
Great to see another X1/9, I think it was you I saw leaving Goodwood as I was coming in. This was the first X1/9 I have seen moving on the roads in my 20k miles in 3 years.
I always try to go to Goodwood breakfast club, also Goodwood most days are ‘track days’ and worth a visit if you are in the area, and its free.

Sorry to have missed you Mike, i parked up close to you but couldn't spot you in the crowd! I'd already been round the show cars & was going for a quick blast when i saw you! Sorry about the frantic arm waving out of the roof but Exxies are as rare as rocking horse poo down here! I live in Bognor so pop into Goodwood alot! Good to see another X on the road at last!
