Scary ... another don't look if you're squeamish

Well it's offical now, I don't have the worst x1/9 in scotland. This one was discovered up a track on the island of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland. Unfortunately I didn't have any of those little membership flyers to leave under the windscreen wiper. But there weren't any wipers anyway.






Ewen - sorry I've not been on the scene recently, other higher priority things have taken their toll. And moving to a house with a garage, has meant the car is nice and dry but it is a case of "out of sight, out of mind", or maybe that should be "out of sight, I must be out of my mind".

It's the car i see in my nightmares. Although not with the forest growing out of the engine compartment! When i tell people i've bought an X1/9 i'm sure they think that's how it's gonna look ! :roll:

Hmmmm, in 50 years time,we may be glad to find something like this! Maybe I'll get my mate, who is from Arran, to check it out,maybe I could get that cup that Gomer wins every year!!! :lol:

Tiff, if you want your mate in Arran to see it, its up a path to signposted to the Glen Ashdale waterfalls which starts in Whiting Bay. Its only about 500yds up the track. There was a rather shiny looking exhaust lying on the ground (behind rear wheel in photo - not totally sure if it was for the exxy) - maybe the owner still has that on is list of things to do!!
