On E-bay, the same car in the CCW article in January! From what i understand from the listing you're not allowed to view before bidding!! It does look pretty nice though. Starting at £3,500.

Cheers,

I'm afraid I wouldn't touch that car with a bargepole now nice as it looks as the seller "Raymanboy" had some previous dodgy dealings from what I remember reading on the old forum before it went down... He obviously has a lot to hide anyway if he has to keep his feedback private plus banning people from viewing the car before the auction end and insisting they pay 10% before coming to collect!

I've got to agree, even the way the listing is worded should sound alarm bells. That's if you can make any sense of it! Lets hope no one is shafted!

Cheers,

Oh how I loathe Raymanboy. He is a disservice to ebay.

He also mentions the club in nearly all of his auctions. Not a good ad for the club if the car is a lemon.

I have had run ins with him before and he stopped for a while. Now he's back on it again. Perhaps he thought I had gone away..............

Well he's wrong....

That is nothing compared to his previous descriptions which can only be described as 'ramblings' of which there were paragraphs of the stuff! They all seem to be for sale due to 'circumstances' too.

One negative response and he makes his feedback private, must have been a 'good' one

I saw that too, I remember it being on a club outing in the early nineties when this car was top notch! It sounds like a bag of spanners now though.
Hope no one from club gets stiffed....

I saw that car a few years back in Brooklands - is'nt that the car (Simon I think was his name - could be wrong) - the second owner - had the car for years and was in practical classics - if it is - oh what a shame the car has been let go to this condition. - please say I'm wrong.........

I'd heard this car has been written off in a smash around a couple of years ago while in Membership role! :(

Could be wrong though!
