A friend of mine has just sent me a couple of photos of two cars at Crich Tram Museum today.
One looks like a Lido and a Red/Black VS. Anyone from here?

It's well worth a visit, very interesting, very welcoming and all the types of boiled sweets you can think off

Yes it was I.
A new found friend and I met at a social event at Weston Park, Staffordshire, held over the weekend 24/25 th June.
I was in a classic car display section on the Saturday with the VS.
He turned up on the Sunday am with his black Lido, a stunning looking car, for an organised rally. Which I joined on the spur of the moment.
The trip was via the Swift Gallery in Stoke on Trent. A photo gallery full of Motor racing photographs from 1900 to modern day. Well worth a look and a great venue for a car club meet.
Then into Crich, which is also well worth the trip out. Tram ride, museum, Victorian buildings, bar/coffee shop and woodland walks.
The rally was attended by all types of cars from 1974 BMW 600 series coupe, Lord Baden Powell's Rolls Royce, Morris Minor, MGB's Saab 96 to name a few.
Really good weekend, throughly enjoyed it.
I mentioned the my partner and I are attending the Bridlington weekend with the VS. The Lido hopes to join us there if he can.
Regards
Simon

I've just dug a photo out of the two cars at Crich.
Hopefully the attachment works.

That is almost identical to the photo my friend sent me, but I seem to have forgotten how to post attachments. Both cars look very nice.
